Walk for Breast Cancer

I am an average person living an average life, preparing for something extraordinary: The 3 Day walk for breast cancer to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.

The lifespan of this blog is unknown. She will survive for another 23 weeks–that is when I walk with my team,  Meet Me Halfway. Over the course of the next five months, I will raise at least $2500 and train 6 days a week (that’s 138 training sessions) to walk 60 miles over President’s Day weekend 2008.

I have gotten some amazing feedback from friends and family who want to either join team Meet Me Halfway or donate towards my personal goal. With so much interest brewing, I will share experiences from training walks, personal training, pitfalls along the way, and milestones reached throughout.
